Oriole Bird Feeders.....are mainly two different styles. The first style being a sugar water feeder, very similar to hummingbird feeders with perches. The second oriole bird feeder is a fruit bird feeder used with oranges or apples.
Since Orioles are known for their "sweet tooth", keeping sugar water and fresh fruits such as orange halves, cherries, grapes, blackberries, mulberries and strawberries in their feeders will keep them coming back. Some of the natural foods of the Oriole are caterpillars, weevils, beetles, moths, aphids, and a wide range of other critters that add diversity to their diet.
When buying one of our Oriole Bird Feeders, remember that you will need both the nectar feeder and the fruit feeder to offer the variety that the Orioles prefer.
